Wu Xie, MS, MEd

Graduate Research Associate

Wu serves as a Graduate Research Associate in IRP. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Higher Education and Student Affairs at Ohio State.

Wu holds two M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering from Nanjing Tech University in China and The University of Nottingham in the UK. After obtaining her electrical engineering degrees, she worked as an electrical engineer. Subsequently, she earned an M.Ed. in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University. Wu’s transdisciplinary research program lies at the intersection of higher education and student affairs, social work, and public affairs, aiming to understand how higher education organizations can compensate for societal inequalities. As a mixed methods research scholar, Wu hopes to leverage the strengths of both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to address the increasingly complex sociopolitical and sociocultural issues unfolding in the higher education landscape.
